"It was eons," he says quietly. "It was seconds. I am grateful that you found me at all. And Banishment was the most effective way to manage it. Not only did it send me where I needed to go, it was... forceful enough to break the hold of the Somnovem. Of the city."

He could not have helped in his own rescue at that point, and Caleb's solution was both elegant and swift. Yussa finishes his glass and sets it aside. He might want more, he hasn't decided yet. But he does not want a distraction in this conversation.

"I think it will be some time before I am fully recovered," he admits. "Being a part of that sort of madness was--" Yussa isn't sure he is capable of describing it. He just shakes his head.
