Yussa relinquishes his glass, knowing he should keep drinking. Maybe it will help clear whatever he inhaled from his system faster. He stays where he is as Caleb settles next to him and he tips his head subtly toward the affectionate kiss.

"I want to be in this room," he says quietly. Yussa realizes it is a strange stubbornness, maybe, given that the entire tower is his and there is really no part of it in which he would feel unsafe, but... He wants to be here.

"And it does not trouble me to have you here," he adds as he meets Caleb's gaze. "You have been... diligent. And kind."
