It has been a long time since Yussa shared his bed quite like this. It's almost strange, at first, knowing precisely where he is and feeling a body - also familiar - so near him. It is the touch that catches his attention, tender and fleeting but clearly an invitation. Affection rises in him and, soon enough, he finds himself turning toward the warmth of his companion. Perhaps it is not quite the close cuddling that Caleb might expect at first, but eventually Yussa's head ends up on his shoulder.
