He lifts his hips enough to make moving the pillow easier, then relaxes back against the bed while Caleb adjusts their position. He turns his head toward the other man as Caleb settles his weight. The comfort he feels with Caleb is something Yussa finds cause to indulge: he doesn't get close to many people, and he is very selective about his sexual partners. Taking the chance on Caleb has already paid off more than he could have imagined, despite the unfortunate surprise of their academic-professional association.
But if Caleb is interested in working around that and in keeping those spheres of their lives as separate as possible, Yussa is willing to continue taking this chance.
He can feel the patterns Caleb is tracing over his skin and it doesn't take him long at all to realize what they are. With a faint smirk, he names a few of them as Caleb goes, his voice soft and heavy in his contentment.
Caleb is relaxed and smiling as they spend several minutes simply playing that little game, sketching runes onto skin and naming them. There really is nothing more exciting than sleeping with another wizard. He has had a weakness for other sharp, curious minds all his life. That he is now bedding the very man who will expand his knowledge in an interesting and dangerous field of study is...very sexy, honestly, even if it is inconvenient. That he is able to so thoroughly please him is fast becoming a point of pride.
"Transmutation lab from noon to four," he murmurs in answer. "And I reserved a practice room for a few hours after."
He doesn't say that it's to test possibilities for the project he'll be working on for Yussa's class, but it is. The practice rooms are actually permanently fixed demiplanes, which gives students a safe place to cast spells that would be dangerous or disruptive. Naturally, they see a lot of use by evocation specialists and those taking evocation classes.
"Good," he says, soft and rather lazy. "You will not have to leave early."
Yussa is perfectly capable of being a morning person - sometimes a very early morning person - but he quite likes the idea of a leisurely start to the day with Caleb. Time for coffee, perhaps a light breakfast, and no rush to get to the Academy for either of them.
"I do not teach tomorrow, but I will be in my office."
With the first impression he's given, Yussa has no idea if he will have students tentatively stopping by or if they will avoid him for a few weeks until they realize just how helpful he is willing to be. All they need do is ask.
But that is something they will have to discover on their own.
